SUSTAINABILITY

Get to know the sustainability actions that Plástico Brasil practices, not only in an environmentally sustainable way, but also promotes the development of a more balanced society. Plástico Brasil constantly communicates good sustainable practices to exhibitors and visitors. Our goal is to become an increasingly sustainable business with a positive impact.

Thinking about it, Informa Markets always seeks to align its sustainability initiatives and content with the UN's sustainable development goals.

Attractions with free lectures that promote the educational development of the public that is entering the labor market.

1. In the content grid of the in-person attraction Parque de Ideias we present topics related to ESG and Sustainability, such as:  Sustainability and energy efficiency in the transformation processes/Sustainable use of Polypropylene composite and unserviceable tire powder/Composite Recycling/Sustainable packaging project of a large brand (Unilever) /"Isopor Amigo" Program - How to put into practice a reverse logistics project and recycling of Styrofoam /Reverse logistics projects of plastic products/ Research on innovation in polymers, aiming at institutional partnerships with the private sector/ Design for Disassembly in the packaging project/Circular Economy in the Plastic market - Challenges and Practice;

2. The exhibition was integrated into the Ideas Park to present projects related to the plastic processing sector by educational institutions;

3. ABINFER BUSINESS CENTER: realization of the island for the exhibition of companies in the tooling sector, with subsidized spaces and special audit focused on sustainability themes for the sector;

4. ABPOL: Partnership promoting content and topics with environmental and sustainability aspects related to the industrial production of plastic;

5. Senai - Mobile School of Nanotechnology:  Demonstrations and practical experiences of nanoscience and nanotechnology, in an interactive attraction with cutting-edge scientific equipment and information  materials;

6. SEBRAE Mobile - Face-to-face Service Unit made by SEBRAE/SP professionals in order to guide entrepreneurial professionals interested in management, business plan and marketing.

  2. ABPOL: partnership to promote content and themes with environmental and sustainability aspects related to the industrial production of plastic;
  3. SENAI - Mobile School of Nanotechnology: demonstrations and practical experiences of nanoscience and nanotechnology, in an interactive attraction with cutting-edge scientific equipment and informative materials;
  4. SEBRAE Mobile: face-to-face service unit made by SEBRAE/SP professionals in order to guide entrepreneurial professionals interested in management, business plan and marketing.
  1. Recicla Plástico Brasil: Recycling action with the collection of materials transformed at the event in partnership with BB Ambiental, which transformed the products into raw material for resale, reverting to donations to the institution SAFRATER - Sociedade de Amparo Fraterno Casa do Caminho;
  2. Legal Cap Project: with voting machines distributed at strategic points of the fair to collect caps for correct destination and recycling, bringing resources for social actions;
  3. Free transfers: free transportation to visit the fair. During the five days of the event, we will provide free rotating transfers at 3 strategic locations to make it easier to get to the event using public transportation.
  4. Partnership with travel agency: creating benefits and optimizing travel and hotel booking costs;
  5. Food:  Food court and points with option of vegan and vegetarian food;
  6. Rest area: we provide in the pavilion rest areas with free Wi-Fi and cell phone chargers;
  7. Accessibility: We guarantee accessibility at the event through motorized chairs available for people with reduced mobility.
  1. Reuse of accreditation bags from previous events;
  2. At the exit of the event, we have a place to collect the bags (plastic) of credentials to also sanitize and reuse at an upcoming event;
  3. Reuse of pavilion signage materials;
  4. Recycling of all tarpaulins used in the fair for subsequent donation to the NGO Safrater - Sociedade de Amparo Fraterno Casa do Caminho in social actions;
  5. We conduct research with exhibitors to reduce the use of printed materials, encouraging the preference and use of digital dissemination materials;
  6. Reduction of the number of credentials produced in PVC with the new digital credential model for A4 printing;
  7. Printed materials are made with paper with FSC certificate;
  8. Recicla Plástico Brasil: Recycling action with the collection of materials transformed at the event, in partnership with BB Ambiental, which will transform the products into raw material for resale, reverting to donations to the institution SAFRATER (Sociedade de Amparo Fraterno Casa do Caminho);

  10. At Plástico Brasil we use 20% of the installations with reused carpet;
  11. We strongly recommend the use of LED lamps in booths to reduce energy consumption;
  12. Exhibitor Service Areas, Accreditation and VIP Club were built with modular structures and carpets that are reused;
  13. Air conditioning: we do the ON/OFF management according to the external temperature;
  14. Encouraging exhibitors to use modular stands that can be reused, encouraging the recycling of the building material of the stands;
  15. Booth height reduction from 5 meters to 4.5 meters and no longer allowed to have mezzanine;
  16. Selective collection of organic and recyclable materials through flagged bins.
